Community Project: Kelly Park Improvements
Exciting improvements are on the way for Kelly Park, and the community is coming together to make it happen! This project, supported by local officials and funded through both the City of Chicago and the Illinois Department of Commerce, is set to transform Kelly Park with new additions like trees, bridges, and walkways.
As part of the plan, individuals and organizations are being invited to contribute to the park’s growth. Donors can support the initiative through fundraising efforts, with opportunities to have their names recognized on donor plaques. Importantly, the park’s trees, once planted, will be cared for by the Chicago Park District for their entire lifetime, ensuring the park remains a beautiful, sustainable space for generations to come.
With construction set to begin later this year, this is a great chance to get involved and help shape Kelly Park into a vibrant hub for the community.
