Chicago Nisei Post 1183 American Legion
The Chicago Nisei Post 1183 American Legion is a veterans’ organization that honors and supports Japanese American military veterans and their families. Founded by World War II veterans, the post provides a community for veterans, advocates for their rights, and preserves the legacy of Japanese American soldiers. It is dedicated to promoting camaraderie, remembrance, and community involvement through various programs and events.
